WORC would like to thank each of you that returned the Satisfaction Survey we sent out in January.  It gave us feedback on how we are doing and also on areas of improvement.  We are always trying to achieve quality services for each of you.  We recognize that those individuals we support are our customers as well as the employers that have hired them.  Supported Employment is a collaborative effort among our community members, the employers, each person's family, brokers, and consumer connections.  It takes the efforts of all of us to have a successful support system for those we serve. 

It also takes excellent and committed staff.  I want to acknowledge the families of our staff and thank them for their support as well.  We have dedicated and loyal employees and we appreciate all their efforts.  Over the last 2 years we have had long term staff leave (having their first or second child) and we miss them dearly but recognize how important family is to each of them.  They were a part of WORC’s history and helped build this agency over the last 23 years.  We currently have 19 full-time staff and 5 part-time staff. 

As we work through budget cuts and dwindling county funds, we ask for your help in the many tough decisions that are made due to each person’s SDS rates (money that we receive to provide services).  We are partners with you and your Broker to provide the best services possible with the funds available.  Thank you for helping us achieve the vision and mission of WORC.
